Sandra and Jeremy Meet on DT Heart & Soul

Written by  Sandra Herrera - Denver Thursday, 12 August 2010 16:22

Okay, sorry I have to do this as a note, but a lot of people are asking for details. So here goes: Jeremy and I met through a site set up by our churches called DTHeartandSoul.com

We started talking on the computer first and then by phone last September. Through time we became best friends and decided we should meet. The reason it took seven months is that Jeremy’s job is pretty strict and he could not get any time off until recently. He came to Denver for the first time in March and I was able to show him beautiful parts of Colorado.

On Saturday, March 6, 2010 he asked me to be his girlfriend. I was so happy and of course said “yes”. I have always wanted to date my best friend and I feel Jeremy is my best friend. Dating long distance is difficult, but both of us have agreed that our relationship is worth fighting for and so that is what we are going to do. I am excited to start this new chapter in my life. As those who are close to me know, this relationship has been possible only by God bringing us together.

I owe Janet Fleurant a great big hug and kiss for pleading with me to never give up my prayers in finding someone special. Last year, I experienced great heartache with a love interest that never happened, I wanted to give up, but she was the one who convinced me that God still might have another plan. May those who still hope to find someone special, please never stop praying. With God, anything is possible. I love all of you. Thanks for all your encouragement.

Love, Sandra
