Back In 2009, The Greater Atlanta Church of Christ (GACC) honored Mrs. Naomi Ruth Barber King with the 2009 HOPE Worldwide Living Legacy Award. Mrs. King is the sister-in-law of the late Martin Luther King, Jr. and widow to Dr. A.D. King who was also slain during the civil rights movement.

Recently, Tony Martin, teamed up with The Elements, a positive hip-hop group hailing from the Columbia, South Carolina Church of Christ. Together they produced a song "The Dream Realized." This month, together with Fabrice Clerger, from South Florida, they recorded the song. This weekend it was performed in Atlanta before members of the King Family as part of celebrating MLK day. And the King family has added the song to the MLK, Jr. archives!

This song is based on Dr. Martin Luther Kings' famous "Knock at Midnight" speech >>>. It had been been performed all over the country and finally made its way to the home of the Civil Rights Movement: Atlanta, Georgia.

Here is Tony Martin, Fabrice Clerger smiling afterwards with Naomi Ruth King (MLK's sister-in-law) and Alveda King. (MLK's niece)

Fabrice, a passionate and soulful Gospel/R&B artist; also known as Breeze, is a laid-back young man who recently discovered his gift of singing/songwriting about a year ago. He was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida with parents of Haitian descent. Breeze’s love for music began at a young age. Growing up, his father would blast various types of music on his record player throughout the house. Artists like Michael Jackson, Teddy Pendergrass and New Edition were some of his favorites as a kid. Brought up in a Christian household, Breeze was raised by loving parents that imposed good morals and character-building life lessons. He seemed to always have a passion and appreciation for music, but wasn’t confident or aware of his God given gift of singing. Making Jesus Lord of his life, he was baptized in June of 2009 at the age of seventeen. Breeze began to identify himself through Christ and appeared to have found part of his calling: music.

God was now calling a once shy and insecure boy to boldly inspire people with his voice. The saying “A silent river runs deep” describes Breeze. On the surface, he is a man of few words, yet his music reveals the deeper parts of his soul and his great love for God. Music is no longer a hobby for Breeze, but an instrument that he uses to connect with both God and people. Motivated by the love of Christ, his musical aspirations are to travel the world and to help people deepen their relationship with the Creator. Breeze has recently released his first CD entitled,“Conviction" on iTunes >>>, and Amazon.

The Dream Realized - Lyrics

The hour is at hand

What should I do?
Lord I'm just one man
But I trust in you
I see so much struggle
The World is gripped with pain

It's on my heart to heal them
I'll do it in your name

If I Stand, Lord I know
I will tread a rocky road
I am poured out for you

Fill me up with you strength
So that I can make it through

We shall overcome ...

My body is weary
I've cried all my tears

But I will not falter
Because I know you're near
I'll take up this burden
It's not mine alone
This dream is from you Lord
And in you I'm strong

If I Stand, Lord I know
I will tread a rocky road
I am poured out for you
Fill me up with you strength

We shall overcome

Overcome ... Overcome

We shall overcome!

So that I can make it through
