Walk in the steps of Jesus, feel his crucifixion, witnessing it literally through his eyes! Enjoy the Last Supper with the Apostles. Feel the pain of betrayal and flogging. Recall your life. Bear the sins of the world. And then die. Three days later, life slowly flows back into your body and you rise from the dead!
We are excited to share about some exciting resources to help Christians grow this year!
Many disciples in our worldwide fellowship regularly write blogs that encourage, motivate, or chronicle their experiences and lessons learned as they walk with Christ. Some even take on the current issues or taboo topics that challenge our thinking and paradigms. We would like to introduce you to two of those persons, who have graciously consented to us sharing about their blogs here on Disciples Today.
For the next 48 hours, we are offering the DVD and Digital Download to you at our pre-release prices!
“We have always wanted our intimacy to be great. We could use some help with how to get there.”
“We have a happy marriage, but our intimate life is a source of pain, frustration, and disappointment.”
“We have had some physical challenges that have affected our sex lives, and we don’t know how to overcome them or talk about them.”
“A lot of damage has happened in our marriage, and we’re having a difficult time being intimate with one another, in our sexual relationship and overall.”
Maybe these words describe how you’re feeling. Or maybe you’re just looking for ways to make things more fun! God’s plan for sexual intimacy in marriage is like the work of a master artist and genuine intimacy is like a beautiful masterpiece. Creating that kind of beauty in marriage usually takes practice and dedication. Like many of you, we have struggled to create that work of art in our marriage, to keep our marriage bed pure from anger, sexual sin, unfaithfulness, selfishness, worldliness, resentment, criticalness, and pride (Heb 13:4). All of us need help to make sure our marital sexual relationships bring glory to God and that sex is the life-giving joy that God intends.
How do we move from ever-increasing events and activities to passionate and powerful experiences of God? How do we recognize and disarm the limiting beliefs and distorted self-image that holds us back? Those are the things that keep us from embracing our true selves. They create noise which drowns out the "still small voice that says, this is the way, walk in it."
The Bible is an amazing work inspired by the creator God, but at times it can be difficult to understand, and even more difficult to know how it applies to our lives. A new eBook by Jon Sherwood titled A Light To My Path - 10 Commandments & 7 Deadly Sins of Bible Study is a great resource for those who want to ignite (or reignite) their personal Bible study.
We were created for love. People must have love or they cease to really live—they start to just exist. When it comes to love, it seems that everyone’s got an opinion, an idea, a blog, a newspaper story, a book, a song, a magazine article, a tweet or a Facebook comment with some kind of advice about it. And yet, people are in the dark and find themselves guessing when it comes to love.
