Recently, Carmen and I had the immense privilege of participating in the 25th anniversary service of the Buenos Aires church. The service was a true worship to God through song and multiple prayers. There were about three hundred worshipers present, and the love and gratitude were palpable.
Steve, Dianne and Matt Brown, who were among the original church planters, were able to encourage the church through live webcast. Their deep, lifelong commitment to the churches in South America is profoundly beneficial (I Corinthians 16:15-18).
There were also videos of gratitude and support from other churches from the continent, some of which were planted by the church in Buenos Aires.
The churches that constitute the Florida Missions Council (FMC) continue to have a vital role in the Southern Cone as they exceed all expectations with their financial support, member mission trips, discipling relationships and training programs. Presently, the churches in South Florida and Orlando are devoted to direct partnerships with the B.A. church.
All who love Argentina are grateful for the leadership of Sebastian and Sarai Serra and their children Camila, Sebastian and Esteban. Their devotion to God and their passion for His work in Argentina is an answer to many, many prayers (II Timothy 2:2).
Carmen and I are very grateful for the sacrificial contributions of the disciples who comprise the FMC that funded our trip. We returned with uncontainable joy because of God’s blessing in B.A.
Psalm 126:5 Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.
