I'm a parent and need family devotionals to teach my kids, any ideas? Hey, I'm a youth leader -- where can I find fresh ideas for activities, lessons, and curriculum? I'm a church leader -- I need some good news about teens from around the world to inspire the church! By the way, how do I find the lastest information about the next international youth and family conference? The newly launched youth and family ministry website, liveit2giveit.org, helps answer those questions.

We are very proud to announce the first worldwide youth and family ministry website for the International Churches of Christ. The website name comes from a theme that is so crucial for sharing and passing on our faith to the next generation: "You gotta live it 2 give it!"

Over the past few years, many church leaders, parents, and youth leaders from around the world have expressed the need to share resources to help reach our teenagers for Christ. Also, we have seen the importance of having a centralized hub on the web to get out vital information about conferences, camps, and teen events on a global scale. We are optimistic and excited that this new website liveit2giveit.org meets both of those needs in our youth and family ministries.

This website will serve as a valuable tool for parents with family devotionals, parenting lessons, and encouragement. Youth workers will also find resources such as lessons, quiet time packets for teens, and ideas for events and activities. Video and audio of lessons from conferences and other worldwide activities will also be included on the site for all to see and hear. We also hope to build a database of teenage curriculum for youth leaders to share and use in their local ministries.

Additionally, we welcome you to please send us any youth and family resources, good news, and pictures you may have so we can post it for others to see. Last but not least, liveit2giveit.org will be the permanent home of the International Conference of Youth and Family Ministry (ICYFM). The website will serve as the spot to register online for conferences and get all the information you need. Audio from past conferences will also be made available on the site (see www.liveit2giveit.org).

This year's conference will take place in Chicago, Illinois April 16-19, 2009. The theme of this year's conference is "Legacy of Faith: You Gotta Live It to Give It!" Registration for the conference will open later this week on the youth and family website.
