After a little over a year on the open market of the online world, last year’s debut release, “The Life and Times Of….” by the disciple-lead rock band, Nineveh Road, has now become available at Illumination Publications International (IPI).

This is a great honor as far as the group is concerned; it’s the first time that the product will have a chance at making a more direct connect to disciple audiences worldwide. “We’ve done the itunes, cdbaby, Amazon thing- they definitely have their place. But this one is special because for us it’s like family,” the group reflects. Currently, the songs still enjoy modest airplay in select small markets worldwide. However, it’s quite intriguing to the group to find out what will happen when their music finally reaches those untapped corners of the church listenership worldwide.

Nineveh Road is: Vincent Adams, John Adams and Vince “Skychild” Parker. They offer a rich and revealing musical menu with their debut release “The Life & Times of...” a semi-autobiographical glimpse into the ups and downs in the lives of these three talented artists. This debut release is a labor of love and pain, tragedy and triumph, personal loss and defiant victory, as demonstrated in songs like “Granted”, “What I Can’t Have”, “The Ghetto Rose” and the flagship anthem, “The Nineveh Road”. The results are an upbeat and hopeful set with a message full of hope.

As a musical team since childhood, the release of “The Life and Times Of…” is the literal fulfillment of a lifelong dream for brothers John & Vinnie Adams. ‘Vinnie’ reflects proudly on the ‘road less traveled’ which brought them back together artistically, after a few years of individual performing pursuits – one of which led him to Broadway as a member of the legendary cast of STOMP: “Those were times of testing for me which brought about a series of - shall we say, ‘well conceived accidents.’ When John moved toward more production, I hadn’t yet gotten the performance bug out yet. My first professional audition in life, apart from the family collab, put me on Broadway. That put me on TV. TV put me on tour with another similar company. And that put me on records. It’s great to have a friend in high places’’, he muses, alluding to the devout Christian faith both brothers share. John and Vinnie hail from the NYC fellowship of churches within the ICOC, where they have been members for the past 14 years. They are comfortably poised for the wave that will hit the world when their stories are told in song because they are living testaments of survival. They can’t wait to tell the world.
