If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. ~ Luke 9:23

Is this list characteristic of you? If so, then you just might be dying. Praise God!

Editor's Note: Gilbert Kerrigan recently joined the staff at the Elmwood Avenue Church of Christ, Lafayette, Indiana. Through this church family, I (Marcia Lamb) was taught the Bible and shown Godly love as a young girl.

This article is timely for me as I grieve the loss of many dear friends. It inspires me to remember how my brothers and sisters in Christ lived and died with these qualities. I too want to live a dying life for God.

Gilbert: It is important to note that for the purposes of this list dying is a good thing. We want to die to ourselves – deny ourselves and take up our crosses daily.
