Disciples Today is looking for professional counselors who are strong disciples in our churches to help build a great new service for singles: DT Heart & Soul.

We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully. Romans 12:6-8

The Scriptures make clear that God gives different gifts within the Church. We are blessed to have a plethora of talents throughout our fellowship; disciples that shepherd us with their teachings, elders that guide us gently with wisdom and experience and teen leaders that inspire our children to know God - just to name a few. We also enjoy the many examples of outstanding disciples who glorify God through their excellence at work. In countless ways all around the world our God is using the talents that He gave each of us to build his Kingdom.

As our movement grows in health and heart, there is a defined need for disciples with a specific talent, the gift of counsel. If you are a professional counselor or psychologist then this call to serve is directed to you. We encourage you to read the following paragraphs and imagine all the ways that God can use your unique gifts for this amazing new ministry.

This plan was recently unveiled at the International Singles Conference in Dallas this past August. DT Heart & Soul was announced before 2,700 singles from over 50 countries and was received with great enthusiasm. With its launch date set in 2009, DT Heart & Soul.com is an online relationship service to connect single disciples in the International Churches of Christ who are ready and serious about finding a Christian mate with spiritual and professional guidance.

DT Heart & Soul will be more than just another online Christian dating website. The site provides online dating services exclusively for ICOC singles with its mission to keep a biblical standard of purity and depth in dating relationships within the church. DT Heart & Soul will provide a guided matching service for singles who are commended by their congregation leadership. The service aims to help singles find friendships that could possibly develop into long-term relationships and eventually marriage. The site will provide spiritually focused coaches, mentoring tools, live counseling services and biblically based study guides and teachings on relationships that glorify God. Development and implementation of the site is being done side by side with local ministry staff.

With this amazing tool now fully under development, we are actively seeking disciples for employment who will work in the role of psychologists, counselors and moderators. We are seeking professionals from all cultures and countries for the following roles:

DT Heart & Soul Counselors
1) Advisory Team: a few highly qualified professionals who are mature disciples to guide the development of the counseling side of DT Heart and Soul.
2) Clinical Psychologists to develop the personal and spiritual profiles each person will fill out when joining the site.
3) Licensed Counselors who will serve as spiritual coaches to help people in various stages of building relationships.
