2,500 single disciples from 50 countries stood arm in arm praising God and kicking off the first ever International Singles Conference among the International Churches of Christ.

A moving flag ceremony interwoven with cultural dances opened the conference followed by a moving time of worship.

Keynote speaker Carlos Castillo of Dallas shared his conversion and subsequent disillusionment with the church and God. He left the church after being immoral and wound up divorced. Later he humbled himself and was restored to the Lord and the fellowship. Speaking from Judges, Carlos challenged the audience to serve as Gideons who "go in the strength you have."

All of the main speeches and most of the classes are being taught by singles. Very few are ministry staff. The ILC continues through Sunday morning at the incredible Gaylord Texan Resort. Pray for God to continue to move in the great hearts of these disciples.
