A campus ministry revival is happening in many parts of the globe among our churches. Here is some good news from 2008 in the US.

  • Norfolk Virginia has now had 10 baptisms this spring semester, and five in just the last two weeks. The campus ministry now has about 55 disciples.
  • LA had well over 400 at their LA wide campus Sunday service. We heard it was 'standing room only'.
  • There were 10 LA campus baptisms in the last 30 days. There were 5 baptisms in South Central campus ministry last month alone.
  • Seattle... the NW campuses OUTSIDE Seattle grew from 10 to 30 during this school year. Wow. One church with just 15 members had 8 campus baptisms.
  • There were 14 conversions at UWashington just this Spring. 3 more are counting the cost. What a semester in Seattle. They only began the semester with 40 something disciples.
  • HotNews has learned that Boston now has approx 110 campus disciples. 19 seniors are graduating in Boston this spring. 3 Bostonwill enter the full-time ministry.
  • Boston campus ministry had 14 baptisms this semester alone. Several more are on the verge of a decision.
  • San Antonio... 9 campus baptisms this spring alone. They have grown from 4 to 35 in the last 24 months! The San Antonio College (30,000 enrollment) bible talk started the year with 7 disciples and have had 5 baptisms. Go community colleges!
  • LA is sending 35 interns to help the small church in Fresno for a weekend. This church wants to go and grow.
  • Gainesville, Florida... The church is now renting the building of the Crossroads church. 31 students were converted in the last 12 months. 10 baptisms church- wide in the last 30 days. C'mon Gators.
