The Valley of the Sun Seeks Region Leader Couple PDF Print Email
by Gordon Ferguson for the Leadership Team -- Phoenix, Arizona  -  Saturday, 31 May 2008

The Phoenix Valley Church of Christ (PVCC) is currently accepting applications for the role of Region Leader.

About the Phoenix Church
The PVCC numbers almost 600 members and is broken down into four regions that are spread out across the valley. Our full-time staff is presently comprised of three region leader couples, a teen ministry couple, a campus ministry couple, and an administrator. We also have a group of five highly supportive elders and together with the staff we enjoy a strong team dynamic.

About the Position
We are looking for a couple that can inspire great faith. The primary responsibilities for this position include: 1) leading the evangelistic charge for the Region; 2) working as a team with elders and other leaders for the training and maturing of disciples; and 3) powerful public and private preaching of God’s Word. Being a team player that works well as part of a leadership team is a must. Previous ministry leadership experience required. Along with the rest of the staff, the new region leader will receive in-depth training to help you hone a wide variety of ministry skills.

About the City
Phoenix is one of the fastest growing cities in America and now boasts a population of approximately five million, including a large Hispanic contingent. It has strikingly picturesque features and beautiful weather for most of the year with very little rain and lots of sunshine (it is a desert, after all). Cost of living is less than many major US cities, but Phoenix offers a wide variety of cultural amenities. It is popularly known as the Valley of the Sun, and we intend to help it become the Valley of the Son!

If you are interested in our opportunity, or would like to find out more, please contact Gordon Ferguson at 602-908-2901 or Jerry Jones at 480-855-5674.
