This year's ICMC features the most unique program to date. After the opening session on July 3rd in Baton Rouge, the entire crowd of well over 1,000 will travel by bus to New Orleans to serve families of the Lower 9th Ward who lost their homes in the devastion of Hurrican Katrina in 2005. Low income people may lose their land if they are not able to maintain it. In one day, the ICMC volunteers will clear 100 lots to help save the property for their owners.
