The Chattanooga Church of Christ (C3) is currently seeking a “Joshua” with vision and zeal to take over leadership of the C3 Ministry.

WHO WE ARE
The Chattanooga Church of Christ (C3) was planted in 1999 by the Atlanta Church of Christ, and currently has 52 members (14 added in the past two years), not including our 29 children. It is a church diverse in race, age, and culture, and deeply devoted to one another with the Bible as our standard. We are committed to seeking the lost through individual and group evangelistic Bible studies, and active in serving the community, especially in meeting the needs of the inner city school where we currently meet. We have strong and healthy relationships with other churches in the Southeast, especially in Tennessee and Atlanta. Over the last 4 years we have been strengthened, unified, and spiritually reinvigorated by consistent and mature leadership for Christ. Now is the time! Just as Joshua was called to take the land from its people, we feel C3 is called to take the people from the land by giving them a new life as Jesus’ disciples!

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Chattanooga Church of Christ (C3) is currently seeking a “Joshua” with vision and zeal to take over leadership of the C3 Ministry. We are looking for a couple who meets the standards given in 1st Tim 3. The leader we are seeking should have a strong vision for an evangelistic church, a sincere devotion to God's Word, a conviction that every C3 member should be a fully committed disciple, and a passion for unity in the Kingdom of God.
We are looking for a man who will work closely with our C3 Board members, Family Group Leaders, other C3 Support Ministries, and individual members of the congregation to achieve the Vision Statement of our church: C3 - Called, Changed, and Commissioned by Christ (see Logo). This means working with all segments of our community who are called by Christ, including the Chattanooga area college campuses. This means working with the C3 church as a whole and as individuals to encourage continual change into the character of Jesus. Most importantly, this means equipping the saints for their commission - to seek and reach the lost.

WHERE WE ARE
Located in the middle of the "Bible Belt," Chattanooga is a city with traditional religious values, but very much in need of the truth. It is Tennessee's fourth largest city, located on the banks of the Tennessee River and home to some of the most scenic views in the Southeastern United States (appropriately nicknamed the “Scenic City”). The area is rich in lush, deciduous mountains, lined with rivers, creeks, and streams, and furrowed with plains and valleys. There is something for everyone in Chattanooga - outdoor enthusiasts and tourists travel nationwide to experience and enjoy its natural beauty and outdoor activities. It is a revitalized, positive, "family friendly" city, and has recently attracted attention of retirees as well. Local attractions include The Tennessee Aquarium, Rock City Gardens, Ruby Falls, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Coolidge Park, and a spectacular Riverfront area.
