A truly historic event for our family of churches will be happening Saturday, June 7th at Hammerschmidt Chapel Auditorium at Elmhurst College in Chicago. As part of the second annual International Apologetics Conference, sponsored by the Apologetics Research Society (June 6-8 at Elmhurst College), there will be a debate on the question; What is the True Legacy of Abraham?

We are truly blessed to get world-renowned speakers for this unique event. The speaker for the Jewish perspective on Abraham is Rabbi Schmuley Boteach, one of the leading world scholars of Judaism. Speaking for the Muslim perspective is Shabir Ally, considered by many to be leading apologist to the English world for Islam. Representing the Christian perspective on the legacy of Abraham is our own Dr. Douglas Jacoby. Coming on the heels of Doug's debate with Michael Shermer at last year's conference at Concordia University, this promises to be both an educational and an inspiring event.
