| River City Music Releases New CD |

From March 2008 Greetings to you from River City Music. Our thanks to the many of you who have purchased our first CD release, "It Is Well With My Soul, Volume I" (see below). It is obvious from the numbers that many of you have already discovered this album on iTunes, CDBaby, Illumination Publishers International (www.ipibooks.com), and other on-line retailers. For those of you who do not yet have a copy, please "pick one up" today (i.e.: download, purchase at the IPI e-store, etc.). These re-mastered a capella recordings of classic worship songs are not only great listening, but can be used to teach part-singers, small groups and whole congregations these heart-moving songs. There's a reason these are classics! All sales support the future of River City Music -- a publisher devoted to producing great worship songs by amateur songwriters in our family of faith. We want to make sure you know about Glorious -- this year's International Worship Leaders Conference. This awesome gathering will be held in downtown Chicago on the campus of the University of Illinois, Chicago. The event has been expanded to encourage participation is all areas of worship planning -- parts singers, choirs, instrumentalists, technical teams, video production teams, drama teams, musical producers, dance teams, graphic artists, and more – in short, everyone involved in conceiving, planning and executing outstanding worship services and special events. The Friday evening session will take place in the newly completed UIC Forum, the Saturday Sessions at the nearby student center, and the Sunday Worship Service back in the 3,000 seat, state-of-the-art main auditorium of the UIC Forum. Please see www.gloriousconference.com for more information and to register. River City Music also now has nearly 25 new songs loaded into the CCLI library (www.ccli.com). As you may know, CCLI provides a highly cost-efficient, easy-to-use licensing mechanism so that your church can have legal rights to project lyrics, print songsheets, and even make your own small-group or church songbook. They have a massive library of songs and they are continually adding amazing features to their service, including the ability to print hymn sheets, chord sheets and lead sheets in any key from your web browser. And the really good news is this .... we've tested the system and it is working!! Apparently, there is a church or two in Norway (yes, Norway) that likes some of the River City Music songs and has used CCLI to get permissions for use of lyrics and so on -- and we got a check for it. Go, Norway! Rock on. The more people sing our stuff, the more we can keep finding and publishing great new songs. So ... if you are projecting lyrics, printing songsheets, and/or creating your own bound songbooks for worship, you need to get on the CCLI system! It's incredibly affordable and easy to use, and there is a HUGE catalog of songs, not to mention all of the River City Music stuff !! We don't have all the audio or chord sheets loaded yet, but once you have your permissions for use from CCLI, you can download recordings of the songs and many of the chord/lead sheets from both www.rivercitysongs.com and www.jbriancraig.com. Lastly, we ask that you please pray for us. It is our goal to produce a hard-copy songbook supplement this year, including typesetting ALL our songs with chord sheets and lead sheets. The revenue from CD sales and use of our songs via the CCLI license is edging us forward, but it will take an injection of funds to really launch the project – and we have a lead on a possible source that could make this happen.
