HOPE worldwide Job OpeningPosition Description: National Field Supervisor

This position reports to the Vice President of Operations and works closely with the U.S. Operations team to sync grant and program efforts with the organization’s mission and objectives.

Grant-related duties include assisting the AmeriCorps Grant Administrator with multiple national training sessions for AmeriCorps members, staff, partners and volunteers; supervising AmeriCorps members; conducting site visits to local programs across the U.S.; serving as a liaison between the local grant site supervisors and corporate office in Wayne, PA; writing national report summaries for partners and government agencies.

General U.S. program work includes being the primary point of contact at the corporate office for all programmatic inquiries from the field; assisting in creating and disseminating orientation materials for new program staff in the field; representing HOPE worldwide at various partner functions, conferences and events; and assisting in partnership and fund-raising development nationally. The National Field Supervisor may also be responsible for some administrative functions pertaining to the work of the Vice President of Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Self-starter with ability to work both independently and on collaborative teams
  • Solid computer skills including expertise in Word and Excel
  • Willingness to travel domestically 2-4 times per quarter
  • Previous non-profit and/or grant experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
