I would like to offer my family's deepest sympathy & condolence to all family members of victims of Northern Illinois University Shooting on Valentine's Day 2008. As an alumni , I cannot imagine what it would be like if the event would took place while I was in the Cole Auditorium some 15 years ago. I took several classes in the same auditorium of the shooting place in the past. DeKalb has been a great, safe, and memorable campus during my four years there. All respects to the Campus police who took actions to prevent further casualties. This type of anger bursting crime is outrages and has to stop, what the world would be for our next generation. Our prayers to the students and their families as they are passing through a tough time. Regards, Charles M. Ham 1996 Graduate - NIU |
