The Chattanooga Church of Christ is currently looking and praying for a full-time singles / campus minister. The Chattanooga Church is comprised of approximately 55 members, of which only one is single / campus.

The church in Chattanooga has a great worship ministry, is very involved in helping the community and believes in strong one-another relationships. Chattanooga is a city that is beautiful and scenic; with rivers, mountains and lots of history. There many activities to enjoy in Chattanooga; hiking, rafting, sports and camping just to name a few. It boasts a great Downtown area where singles and young professionals gather, as well as being home to the University of Tennessee Chattanooga.

Chattanooga is in the middle of the “Bible Belt”, where many people profess to be Christian, but where too often Jesus is not “Lord”. We are praying for and requesting brothers that have the zeal, faith and work ethic to start and build a ministry from the ground up, spending time evangelizing and running Bible talks and Bible studies on campus and in the home. We want to shine a bright light upon this city’s singles and campus population—are you up to the challenge? This ministry position will report directly to the evangelist and will afford the opportunity for the incoming minister to preach on a rotation, allowing for growth and training in preaching, teaching and public speaking skills as well as personal growth.

Requirements:
• Strong walk with God (Man of Prayer and of the Word)
• Zealous for God and passionate about saving the lost
• Capable of studying the Bible with someone from start to finish of conversion process
• Strong work ethic, proven leadership skills and respected by peers
• Humble and able to learn from others
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Someone desiring to learn different aspects of ministry
Desired (But not necessarily required):
• College degree
• 1-2 years ministry experience (or equivalent as family group leader, etc.)

Married applicants are also welcomed, but the size of our congregation allows for only 1 paid position.
