He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." (Rev.21:5)

These past few years have seen a fresh breeze of growth and change in our fellowship. Disciples around the world are exercising their gifts in new ways, to serve one another and advance God's Kingdom as never before.

As we know, one of the ways God speaks to us is through the written word. This tradition continues to this day, as his people come forward with new books to instruct and strengthen his church, bringing new insights into the inspired message of the Bible.

A few notable new releases:
Douglas Jacoby, Bible scholar and aplogist, has just released Compelling Evidence for God and the Bible. This volume is particularly notable because it was published by Harvest House Publishers. At last, the quality of his work has been recognized by a major mainline Christian publishing house, taking his message to a broader audience.
Jacoby’s book is an easy-to-read apologetics work that will

* show readers the evidence that there is a God
* help readers see the unique role of the Bible as the Word of God
* encourage readers to make an informed decision about whether to follow Jesus

This book is especially suited for nonbelievers, anyone new to the faith, and believers who want a better understanding of their faith and how to explain it to others. For readers who want solid reasons why the Christian faith is not only true but also reasonable, this book is the place to begin. Check it out here at www.ipibooks.com.

Gordon Ferguson, a longtime elder and evangelist, has been especially busy lately with several new releases. All are available at www.ipibooks.com.

Developing a Biblically Healthy View of God is a four-hour video series. We’re called to reflect the glory of God and to do so we must correctly understand his nature. In this four hour video series, Gordon Ferguson answers pivotal questions that address God’s nature. He addresses topics such as:

Does doctrine really matter?
How do we interpret thekindness and sterness of God?
How do we think God views us?
How do we view our movement?
Have we lost our fear of God?
Do we truly revere God’s Word?

This DVD series, with a PowerPoint presentation, will help ensure a balanced and biblical understanding of our glorious God.

Love One Another: The Importance and Power of Christian Relationships. Christianity is a religion of relationships. Jesus said that the work he came to do would be judged by the manner in which his disciples related to one another (John 13:34-35).

Messages:
1. Love: Damaged by Worldly Relationships
2. Love: Defined by One Another Relationships
3. Love: Distilled by Discipling Relationships
4. Love: Directed by Leader/Follower Relationships
5. Love: Disciplined by Limiting Relationships
6. Love: Deepened by Family Relationships
7. Love: Delighted by Body Role Relationships

This audio CD series highlights the most vital of all Christian attributes—love. This topic is timely, relevant, challenging, insightful, compact—and is desperately needed by every disciple because it deals with having, maintaining and deepening godly relationships.

Discipling: God's Plan to Train and Transform His People. In the new era of our fellowship, discipling has become a very sensitive subject. Yet Jesus built his ministry on discipling relationships and countless lives have been changed into the image of Christ through the centuries through his plan. The author of the definitive work on discipling relationships presents the material from his book in four dynamic lessons.

Messages:

Lesson 1: Biblical Foundations
Lesson 2: Being a Disciple of Jesus
Lesson 3: Being a Discipler for Jesus
Lesson 4: Issues, Challenges and Opportunities

In this audio CD series Gordon calls us back to Jesus’ high standards of discipleship through careful biblical study, powerful illustrations and personal openness. This is truly a life-changing study series.

Christ Above All. Scripture tells us that Jesus is above all of creation (Colossians 1:15-17); above all as the fullness of Deity in the flesh (Colossians 2:9); above all as the one in whom are hidden the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3); above all as Head of the church (Colossians 1:18); and above all in the life of each disciple (Colossians 3:1-4).

This powerful exposition, in an audio CD series, will help you put Jesus in the rightful place in your life and empower you to live out a dynamic Christian life.

Prepared to Answer: Second Edition. Doctrine is important to anyone intent on pleasing God and helping others to please God. Religion without doctrine is like a human body without a skeletal system. A coherent body of belief that reflects the thinking of God must be the starting point if our lives are to be lived differently and have impact. See how Paul put it in 1 Timothy 4:16: “Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.”

It is clear that life and doctrine go hand in hand. Both must receive careful attention. Whoever first said they are like the two wings of an airplane was on the right track. Try to have the right life without doctrine and you will end up with some sort of “mushy moralism” that will neither help people nor please God. On the other hand, become a doctrinal expert and give no attention to your own inner person—your heart and your attitudes—and you will do more harm than good. Prepared to Answer is designed to help us be confident and knowledgeable without being arrogant.

And at last, from Gordon's wife Theresa:

Learning to Forgive Others in Your Past. Forgiveness doesn't always come easily, but it's vital to living a dynamic life of love. Theresa will help you learn from God, through Scriptures, a simple journey of faith in order to forgive others who have hurt you in your past.

Theresa reveals how we often react the wrong way: we get angry, resentful, bitter, malicious, we pull our hearts away, run away and often ignore the problem and hope it goes away. These never resolve the problems, they only intensify them.
has come forward with a book of her own:
This series will give you biblical solutions that will empower you to forgive and unburden you from the past. Forgiveness is possible.

This set includes the DVD video, an audio CD with a powerpoint and message outline. For more information about the teaching ministry of Gordon Ferguson see his website.
