The year 2007 has been a year of revival for the church. God proved His faithfulness among us as we saw many of our brothers and sisters being revived. We have seen 41 people baptized and restored, with growth of 26 so far this year. Our average attendance has grown from 300 to 490. The church also made incredible effort in meeting the needs of the suffering through donation of food and clothing materials to the flood victims in the Northern part of the country and also the Psychiatric hospital. We also witnessed six weddings in the church. Our Women’s Empowerment Seminar was a great success with over 300 women in attendance.
Presently, the church is being positioned for continued growth and we aim to increase from one to three churches in Ghana next year. Please, continue to pray for us to remain focused as we determine to see Ghana won for Christ. Thanks for your encouragement and support. Finally, the year 2007 was a year of transition as Charlie & Yayra Davies moved to the Lagos Church and Jide & Biola Ojo from Lagos church replaced them as the Congregational Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader in Accra church. Charlie and Yayra will be sorely missed. They lead a region now in the Lagos church. Jide Ojo for IcocHotNews.com Church Evangelist jidebiola1@yahoo.com |
