God continues to bring unity, partnership and brotherhood to the International Churches of Christ. Recently all the Canadian churches affirmed the Plan for United Cooperation and joined a wave of churches committed to working together as a family and taking the gospel to all nations.

Here is a segment of a letter from the leaders of the Canadian Churches:

"At our recent Canadian Church Leaders meeting we reached the decision that: All the Canadian Churches desire to be a 'regional family of churches' within the Cooperation Plan with two representative delegates.

Prior to this meeting, four churches affirmed (* below). With this recent decision which was unanimous, ALL 12 Canadian churches (1400 to 1500 disciples) would be a part of the Cooperation Plan. The cities and leadership represented are:

• Toronto – Leadership team of Evangelists and Elders: Kevin Robbins, Andrew Lewis, Marty Udall, Kevin Joachim, Michael Lock, Tim Frost and Ed Bahula
• Vancouver – Brian Felushko, Evangelist/Elder
• Montreal * - Danny Brisebois, Evangelist
• Calgary* - Michael Luzine, Evangelist
• Ottawa – Howard Martin, Evangelist
• Halifax* - Guy Hammond, Evangelist
• Winnipeg – David Jung, Evangelist
• Hamilton – Ron Petter, Evangelist
• Edmonton – Edi Balian, Evangelist
• Newmarket – Leo Teeuwen, Evangelist
• Quebec City* - Danny Brisebois, Evangelist
• Tri-Cities (Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge) – Tim Frost, minister (elder in Toronto)

We wish to commend the group of cooperation churches for the spirit of unity demonstrated over the recent years. We are very pleased and excited to become an active part and appreciate your patience as we worked through matters of cooperation and unity in our own nation first."

We Praise God for the love, humility and partnership of the Canadian churches and we thank God for how He continues to work and bless our spiritual family around the world.

Go Canada!
