The Lord is our tower of refuge, our only shelter. SIDR, the most devastating hurricane in the history of Bangladesh that had recently hit the southern bays and hundreds of villages along with some major cities couldn't hurt the disciples even though many of their houses and possessions got destroyed.

Truly the Lord has been our tower of refuge and shelter as he protected our lives and the lives of our family. Some of the disciples shared their awful experience….
Jhunu Dhali who was in her village home at Barishal on the night SIDR attacked: “I couldn't even think of my children and my husband for a single moment as all of us tightly grabbed the pillars. The only thing in my heart and in my mouth was God's name.” Praise God that the half of her home that got totally damaged was the other half of where Jhunu and her family members took shelter. If the trees fell on the portion where they passed the traumatic hours, it'd been the end of their lives.
James Dhali's (Jhunu's husband) whole house at Barishal fell apart.
Mitali a single sister's home in the village was half damaged as the broken boughs of big trees fell on the tin-roof of their living room.
Juliet another sister shares, “ All through the night I kept calling my parents who were in the village on that vile night and I hardly heard my dad's or mom's voice. All I could hear was the rattling and swirling of forceful stormy wind as I kept praying.” This sister's kitchen, cattle's shed fell down at Thursday night's vehement strike of SIDR. Most of her neighbor's homes were totally broken by the cruel storm.
Bristy, a sister who works as a nurse shared that the walls of her village home where her parents stay was about to fall.
All the rooms of David's house fell.
Torun's one room got damaged as tree fell on it. Their family had a farm of about 250 hens that was washed away. Most of the tin roofs literally flew away.
Liton's relative's home around his house got shattered to pieces.
Amit's aunt's house got severely damaged and hundreds of tree fell around his house.
Martin & Papia's both their family are safe but their house and crops are highly damaged by this disaster.

Please keep our country in your prayers. Pray also for the disciples who's families were affected by the storm. Pray for people to turn to God, pray for the church to be a source of comfort for those who are suffering. We request for your financial assistance to help those disciples family to repair their homes.
Thank you for your prayers and concern.
