We are a generation of dreamers. We grew up believing the world could be a better place, and that we could make it so. We wrote the music, sang the songs, poured out our hearts and lives, and gave it our best. It was great, it was fun, it was exhilarating -- what a time to be alive!

Now, our kids are growing up, our nests are emptying, and we are looking at some significant years ahead – what will we do with them? Have our hearts ceased their dreaming? Are we going to tamely coast home to the finish line? We don’t think so!

Let’s come together to remember, refocus, regroup, and reload. Let’s take some time to relax and enjoy ourselves, and, in company with those of like mind and life experience, get a fresh vision and dream some new dreams for what lies ahead. Our best years are yet to be!

This is Those Who Dream, a three night retreat at The Swamp, sponsored by Sonny and Carolyn Sessions and Sam & Geri Laing

Sonny and Carolyn Sessions are renowned for their leadership of The Swamp, the camp that has inspired and guided a generation of our children. They are experienced, mature church leaders whose counseling, teaching, and example of joyful, Christ-centered living and helping the needy have influenced the lives of thousands.

Sam and Geri Laing have presented seminars on spiritual life, marriage and family life, and effective Christian living all over the world. Their books, teachings and example have guided and inspired a generation to live life authentically, from the heart, and with deep Biblical and spiritual conviction.

The Sessions and Laings bring to this occasion a unique ability to orchestrate events that inspire, inform, provide times of fun and play, and that also move us in our deepest heart. They are offering this special weekend with the intention of providing an experience that will not only be enjoyed at the moment, but that will help us make the next season of our lives the most fulfilling and effective one of all. The classes, messages and other special experiences are designed to encourage and inspire us to dream fresh dreams, and to equip us with the faith and the tools to make them come true…so that we may always be Those Who Dream!

• Time to walk, sit, talk, and pray.

-- The walking trails and rocking chairs are waiting for you!

• We’ll be at camp, but will serve great adult food.

-- We’re talking steak, shrimp, salmon and salads!

• Classes and messages specifically devoted to meeting the unique needs of our generation.

-- You’ve not heard this stuff – there’s not enough of us in one church to get up a large enough class.

• Classes to help restore our dreams and give us ideas of how God can use us in greater ways than ever.

• A chance to regroup, retool, renew, revive, restart, and reawaken.

Cost for the retreat is $200 per person and $395 for married couples which includes eight meals and three nights lodging. For those of you who wish to make your own lodging accommodations, we are developing and will soon publish a list of area hotels along with their room rates so that you may make private reservations and arrangements as you wish.
