Last week a Washington D.C. Metro crashed into a stationary train. The accident resulted in 9 deaths and 70 injured passengers. Dr. Daniel Hines, a member of the Potomac Valley Church of Christ in Virgina, was in the first car and was one of the injured passengers.

This past week, Dan preached a powerful message for our church about what he has learned from this experience. His message was entitled, 'Are You Right with God?'.

Dan is a dentist in the Washington, D.C. area. He has been married to Brenda for 21 years. Brenda is a physician in Fredericksburg, Virginia. They were baptized in the DC church in 2000.

Together, they have three children they are bringing up in the Lord. Jasmine is a disciple and a sophomore at Temple University. Jamaal is a disciple in the high school ministry and in his senior year. Jaraad is a sophomore and is currently studying the Bible to become a disciple.
