Dr. Mark Ottenweller's trip through Africa continues, and so does his blog.

His latest blog is about the immense amount of damage that AIDS has caused in Namibia. Over 10% of the population there is living with AIDS and there are over 66,000 AIDS orphans in just this one country.

Here is an excerpt from his latest update:

Everyone in Namibia has been affected by HIV/AIDS. Many disciples have lost family members due to AIDS. Very poor communities are full of AIDS orphans. The entire economy and future of this country have been affected. The 40 volunteers of HOPE worldwide have worked in a local orphanage, helped young mothers with milk formula, and now want to open a local counseling center—there are many needs here and lots of work to be done.
