Truly INVINCIBLE!

Many the world over, have heard about the infamous splits in the former Atlanta Church of Christ. However, in 2007 God???s faithfulness has been witnessed & the hearts of his people have been quenched!

The Greater Atlanta Church of Christ (GACC), All Nations COC and Stone Mountain Church of Christ united to bring "INVINCIBLE" to the city of Atlanta! This evangelism seminar was held February 16th - 18th 2007 at the Sheraton hotel in downtown Atlanta.

By Sunday???s summation, the venues biggest ballrooms were filled beyond capacity, teeming with eager, frenzied disciples and their visitors hearing the word of the Lord! The hotel management had to literally turn people away to prevent a fire hazard! Little did they know the fire had already begun!

The seminar charged off with a challenging, and inspiring sermon by All nation's Frank Davis! As the seminar went on there was only more elevation to come! GACC???s Mike Patterson & Les Johnson, Stone Mountain???s Scott Kirkpatrick, Athens???s Sam Laing, North River???s Tom Brown, GACC???S SPEECH, and others like Buzz Banadyga, Phil & Kim Proctor, Eddie Calerone, Marcos Mercado, Angel Martinez, the Galbreaths, Royale & Roechelle Williams, Byron Word, Anthony & Patsy Alford, Joey Harris, & J.P. Tynes preached the word of God!

Atlanta???s women were strongly encouraged as well. Sermons by leading women like: Shawn Patterson, Michelle Davis, Theresa Kirkpatrick, Kelly Brown, and others helped the sisters to be all that Christ has destined them to be.

Nearly 3000 disciples (the most gathered together in Atlanta since the church split in 2004) were represented from over 4 countries and all ethnic groups, from Latino to Asian! Hotel halls were scattered with disciples studying the Word among themselves and with their new friends; the aroma of Christ was everywhere! By the end of the conference, there were 3 new baptisms!

     It was so amazing to see the Sheraton hotel staff even lose their composure as they danced to electrifying performances by the Grammy Award winning hip-hop group, Arrested Development & up coming gospel sensation Gina Darby. Also the rock sounds of Nanyana, plus hip hop flavors of Gravity from New York and Big City from Philly, were on display! Atlanta???s Deeper Shade of Soul choir was reunited to start and end the conference, moving the whole audience thru high-energy song and dance!

     ???Invincible??? in short, was a spiritual smorgasbord with an array of workshops ranging from the arts, to purity, & chemical recovery! Yet it was festive and celebratory in nature. Multi-lingual classes and songs filled the air, and you felt the electricity of the Spirit!

     The theme was obvious: we are invincible in Christ, we are to love the lost and the saved without stopping, and our Father in heaven deeply loves all His children. The impact has only begun!
