Franck and Fabienne Descotes are working in the secular world in their hometown, Lyon, France, where they originally planted a church sent out from Paris in 1994.. They are part of the leadership group today, with other awesome disciples They shared this great news with us:
"God blessed us on May 17, 2009. It was probably on of the most memorable Sunday in the history of the Lyon church, with close to 120 in attendance.
With 27 disciples, we had 32 visitors (among whom 14 for the first time + 10 "former" disciples-great victory!) + 18 other disciples from Paris and Geneva who came to help + 10 teens for a total of 90 + 30 kids!!! Thierry Fender, Evangelist of the Geneva church, preached the Word. The spirit of unity could be felt between all the churches represented.
Without "pushing" too hard, people brought their friends, neighbours, colleagues, bosses, family...The service went awesome, our young christian couple (baptized on April 14th) shared, we had music performance, dancing performance, singing performance, a poem by Alain (a recent convert).

People were touched, many tears were shed...one disciple from Paris, Carlos, who was part of the Lyon mission team and who left the church in 2003, has now decided to move to Lyon and come back to Christ. God is moving powerfully as the church is baptizing again, reaching out, and worshipping God with great joy."
