The Boston Church of Christ announces our search for an additional region leader couple to serve in the North region in the Boston church. We presently have 32 on staff in the Boston church and a total membership of 2,050 disciples.
The North region is made up of 208 members. This role could also include leadership over our Northern "Worship Center" which combines both the Northwest and North regions for worship and aspects of leadership.
We are looking for an evangelist who can inspire the evangelistic thrust of the region and provide a prophetic edge in preaching calling all to be disciples and teaching us to obey everything Jesus commanded. Our vision for this ministry is to help us fulfill Paul's description given in Ephesians 4:12-13, "To prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." This couple should be team players and be able to lead in a team environment working with elders, deacons, youth ministers, women's ministry leaders along with non staff leaders and leadership teams.
The church leadership is committed to providing our ministry staff with the resources to fulfill their ministry. Our approach is pairing up leaders who work in their various responsibilities and ministries. Our rather large and diverse staff offers the opportunity to work with other devoted ministry leaders who help one another in the ministry.
