The 2009 International Campus Conferences (ICMC) will be held in 20 cities in 18 different countries! The theme of the conference this year is ”The Whole World Will Know”! Here is your invitation to the ICMC in Bergen, Norway.

ICOC International Campus Ministry Conference 2009
”The Whole World Will Know”

Since there are only 5 conferences planned for Europe, the conference in Bergen will be the closest ICMC venue for all of Northern Europe. We are looking forward to hosting people from many different churches, and will have guest speakers from campus ministries in the USA and from Europe who will inspire us from the Bible and share from their experiences in reaching young people with the Gospel.

If you are a student, we strongly urge you to make room in your calendar for this exciting event! However, we appeal to any disciple, young or old, single or married, who would like to see our student ministries grow, to consider coming to this conference. Think of it: Paul was not a very young man any more by the time he set up his ministry in Tyrannus' school in Ephesus (Acts 19: 8-10). Age makes no difference as long as we have the same goal and stand in the same battle!

Since this conference is planned only for the weekend of June 26th – 28th, we believe many of the participants would like to stay for a few more days. That's why we decided to link it with our annual week-long summer campaign here in Bergen. Those of you who attended last June, will remember that faith-building week very well!

Bergen Summer Campaign 2009

While the ICMC will supply us with biblical teaching and insights from experienced campus ministry leaders, the goal of the Bergen Summer Campaign is to inspire and equip disciples through practical training. As we evangelize, pray, study the Bible with non-Christians and learn from each other on the way, we will have lots of fun together and experience the thrill of being used by God to reach young people with the Gospel. We also believe that friendships we build while being in the battle together for the Lord will help us keep up our zeal and vision as we all go back to our own local ministries after the campaign. While we are planning for a whole week of activities from June 20th to June 28th, you are welcome to come join us for a shorter period or even for a couple of days only.
