God has already blessed the 170 disciples of the Greater Atlanta Church of Christ with 16 baptisms this year including 3 last week! Jeremy Lee was sitting in a juvenile detention facility a year ago. Last week he was baptized into Christ as a freshman at Morehouse College. Check out his story from the GACC and the article about him in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Jeremy Lee, a freshman at Morehouse College, got baptized April 5, 2009. Lee was incarcerated for armed robbery at the age of 14 and got out at 17. While in jail, he got his high school diploma and started searching for God.

Somebody from Morehouse found out about him and gave him a second chance by allowing him to attend college. It just so happens that he got placed in the same dorm and floor as our brother Samuel Lewis, who was just baptized the semester before.

One day, Jeremy was walking by Sam's door, saw a flyer for Bible Talk and decided to attend. From there, the brothers started studying the Bible with him. Jeremy made the Bible his standard and matured so much right before our eyes. He is such an amazing miracle story!
