| LA Church Is a Pacesetter for MLK Day of Service |

"Life's most persistent and urgent question is what are you doing for others?" ~ Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King’s vision of a beloved community will come to fruition as people of different races, creeds and ages gather on Monday, January 19 to improve their communities to commemorate his birthday. In this spirit, more than 3,000 HOPE worldwide Los Angeles volunteers from across Southern California region making it a day of service. John Causey, Executive Director of HOPE worldwide Los Angeles stated, “Service to others is an incredible common denominator and therefore I am very excited that we have so many willing and vibrant volunteers who are committed to participating in this year’s Day On Hope.”
This year’s special guest will be Jim Palmer, who currently serves as a Board Member of the Corporation for National and Community Service.
