Earlier in 2007, the Chicago Church of Christ announced a 10 year plan, The Vision. In this article, evangelist and teacher Steve Staten explains their plans to develop qualified teachers throughout the congregation to equip "God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up."

The Vision for the Chicago Church is clear: "We envision generations of authentic disciples..." Here is an update on the Chicago Vision for their teen and family ministry.

On Wednesday, November 14th, the church here in Santiago took up a Special Offering ... to help meet the needs in Santiago and in the mission churches of Concepción and Viña del Mar.

"So here I am today, eighty five years old! I am still as strong today…I am just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then ” Joshua 14:10 -11.

These are the words of Caleb – a man who refused to allow age to dim either his passion for God or his willingness to stand in the forefront of battle. Thousands of years later, a growing band of disciples (60 years and above) are gaining a new identity. Not just Senior Citizens, they are now Caleb's Group.

The Lord is our tower of refuge, our only shelter. SIDR, the most devastating hurricane in the history of Bangladesh that had recently hit the southern bays and hundreds of villages along with some major cities couldn't hurt the disciples even though many of their houses and possessions got destroyed.
