"Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD."
The Chennai church organised a retreat for Calebs (above 60 years old) and Naomis (widows). It was from the evening of 8th December till evening of 9th December at Scriputre Union Camp Centre.
It was inspiring to see the spirit of Calebs and Naomis. They gave their heart in playing some games, young when comes to show their talents - singing and dancing entertaining everybody around them. They were very eager to attend the devotion at 7 am in the morning and opened up their lives to one another, praying with one another. They were inspired by the powerful message after breakfast. The moving time was when they came forward to share their lives. Everyone were moved with tears. The pain they go through physically, emotionally, the miracles they recieved and how they are grateful to God and His church, for the love of the disciples around them. Many of them shared how they are so eager to come on Sunday services to recieve the love of God in the church. Altogether it was a great fruitful retreat. To God be the glory.
