While Joe and Laurel Dubowski were exchanging Valentines gifts, a tragedy was unfolding on the Northwestern Illinois University campus. A gunman had targeted students in a classroom, and their daughter Gayle, was one of the six who died that day.
We would like to present to you three lessons taught in Dallas/Fort Worth Church of Christ at their Women's Day this year. The guest speaker was our dear sister Virginia Lefler, who is well-known for her great books for Christian women - Gentle & Quiet Spiritand Pure Beauty. The 2010 Women's Retreat was an incredible time of strengthening and renewal.

Jeff Balsom, elder in the Chicago Church of Christ, was recently diagnosed with stage IV cancer. He is currently waiting to have a brain tumor and lung tumor removed. Jeff shares his thoughts on an inspiring blog. This messasge touches everyone who has or is waiting on the Lord.
Nearly 1,800 are pre-registered for the 2010 International Leadership Conference (ILC) in Miami September 23-26. Sixty per cent more are already registered from outside the US than attended last year! These are great signs of growing health and advancing the gospel among the International Churches of Christ.
The Hyatt Hotel is now sold out and rooms at the Marriott are going fast. All registration is now onsite.
This year we are focusing on The Mission to honor the Lord's calling for us. Please pray for God to move powerfully.Thanks to the South Florida Church for being great hosts.
